I am the Marketing & Special Events Manager for the Melrose Trading Post, a weekly market and community event by the non-profit organization, Greenway Arts Alliance in Mid City West Los Angeles (right next to WeHo). I have worked with GAA since late 2011.

Melrose Trading Post is an artisan market with live music, a place for community celebrations, and a collaboration station for local artists. MTP is held every Sunday at Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, CA.
The unique structure of Greenway Arts Alliance is a model for other arts organizations around the world. The admission fee and vendor fees raised by MTP support GAA’s professional theater (Greenway Court Theatre), arts education programs (Greenway Institute for the Arts) and student club / teacher support programs (Friends of Fairfax).

I oversee MTP’s marketing, music and stage programming, special events, outside promotions, non-profit giving program, and more. Through my work at GAA, I am able to collaborate with several community partners to produce community celebrations within MTP.
My small but mighty team plans seasonal events each year, learning and growing from each event we bring to life. Through MTP I’ve been able to collaborate with Mid City West LA Neighborhood Council, Council District 5 Team and Councilmembers, CicLAvia Melrose, Melrose B.I.D., Los Angeles Poet Society, Eclectuals Book Market, Intermission by Cranes Studio, Los Angeles League of Women Voters, RMNG, 3pts.co, Outloud / JJLA, Greenway Court Theatre, and many more.
